TV Series with Great Endings

The Deadwood discussion in the Rate the Last TV Show You Watched thread...

http://www.statueforum.com/showthrea...37030&page=106

...got me thinking about TV series with great last episodes.

The ones that come immediately to my mind are:

Six Feet Under
The Shield
Damages
The Sopranos
Breaking Bad
The Wire
M*A*S*H
St. Elsewhere
Bob Newhart
NYPD Blue
Nurse Jackie

What you got?

Breaking Bad
The Shield
Justified
Star Trek: TNG
Cowboy Bebop
Berserk

The next tier down, but still satisfying.
Battlestar Galactica
Dollhouse
Burn Notice
White Collar
Psych
Sons of Anarchy
Quantum Leap

Not sure I would give Sons of Anarchy a great ending nor a crappy one. Didn't see Ajax going out like that.

I like that he wanted to give his sons a chance for a 'normal life' and realized that no matter the ties and 'brotherhood' of the Club in the end they were criminals.

Futurama belongs on both of these lists. I thought the final FOX episode was horrible and at the time it was unlikely that there would be any more. Later after Comedy Central had made a few more seasons, their final episode hit all the right beats.

i was a little let down by both sons of anarchy and dexter after several seasons of consistently outstanding writing and episodes
