Leviathan Studios - Alliance Footman (World of Warcraft)

Found this on the Interwebs, but the supposed manufacturer Leviathan Studios doesn't seem to have a website.

Also, the asian shop prices where it's listed seem to be all over the place from 250$-500$ and most listings look dodgy.

Same for the release date, ranging from "in stock" to "PO Release Q4/2021".

So, any ideas if this is a legit release by an asian niche company or is this a scam?
Also, if the former, where would be a relyable place to order from? Not familiar with these asian retailers myself.

Thanks!

Like 90% of the stuff you can find in these asian shops, this one is unlicensed. No mention of Blizzard or World Of Warcraft.

That doesn't mean it is a "scam" however.

Well, define "scam" - stealing I.P. kinda qualifies as a scam.

But, from a practical perspective, these "floating" masterpieces should be avoided. Why? For me there are some alarm signals.

For one thing, these "producers" seem to have no dedicated presence in the market place. This suggests theres absolutely NO traceability if the transaction goes wrong.....not too mention that just buying the product feels like you have to climb Mount Olympus just to give them your hard earned.

Maybe I'm too cautious or pessimistic, but they say a fool and his money are easily parted......

Given what has happened with Chronicle, PCS, and many other official companies, I'd say your money is safer with these unlicensed creators actually. Wasn't Syco also an official company too?

I'd say the opposite. If your money isn't necessarily safe with an "officially" licensed producer, then you have even more chance of getting stuffed by a pirate.

I guess you're right, but reading the forum rules this is more speculative debate than advertising. Let the MODS decide.

You're right, I guess I took that aspect for granted given how all these new asian companies with legid licensing are popping up left and right (JND Studios, Queen Studios etc).

Blurred logo on the shield should have been a dead giveaway though.

So, yeah, if inappropriate, please delete.
