Apparently it's happening.

A Venom movie/introduction could be amazing on the back of a series of great Spidey films, a black suit intro and movie, and a subsequent Spidey vs Venom film. This will not have any of that and will be some cheap cash grab.

I hope the involvement of the awesome Tom Holland Spider-man Disney established is minimal as to not taint that property.

As far as I have heard, it will have little to no connection with Spidey and no connection to the MCU at all.

I can't blame Sony for attempting to maximize their profits with the Spidey franchise.

They can't just let Venom sit on the bench.

Apparently an R-rated version is being proposed.
