DC's Titans Series

They posted this in the DC blog

Not sure which Robin it is but it looks pretty good.

By the way I couldn't find a thread for the new Titans series so if there is one please merge.

Now that's a movie quality costume. It's the one pet peeve I have about DC TV shows is the crappy costumes.. Although Flashes is ok and Arrow got better in the last couple seasons. But I hate most of the ones the sub-characters have and most of the bad guys, they seem so cheap and cheesy most of the time.

As for this costume I would guess Red Robin. Could be Damian... depends if it's based on New 52 or Rebirth....

It's Dick Grayson. He was actually cast as Nightwing so I imagine by the end of S1 he will change his persona.

Really, weird, the bo staff was always Tim's weapon of choice. But it's not like WB writers concern themselves with details.

Has anyone else watched this yet? I have only watched 1 out of the 2 episodes so far but I like it. It is really dark and violent. Good acting. Makes me think of Deadpool 2 when he asks Cable if he is from the DC Universe. LOL

I watched episode 1 and I think the biggest adjustment is the tone. It is similar to Netflix Daredevil in its dark and violent nature. I am impressed by production values, it feels like they threw quite a bit of money at it given it is not a film.

I'll keep watching as curious where it goes, but I get if it turns fans off.

I personally like the show so far... I think anything from Batman/Gotham should be dark....

Arrow's first two seasons were a bit dark and that's what I liked about it before it got all cheesy and it's production values dropped big time... Hopefully with Titans being on DC's streaming service they have less expenses and can keep the production values high..

After two episodes I'm into it. Lot of swearing and violence, but I'm invested in the characters and the story.

Also this tease has me looking forward to my favorite Titan appearing.

IMO they need a few more live series before it's worth the $78 a year IMO... just having one show doesn't cut it unless you've never seen any of the animated movies/shows... if that's the case then the $78 isn't bad..

For me I'll probably cancel my subscription once the first season of Titans ends...
