No worries, I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing at the show's cheesiness and myself bc I remember watching it.

Prince provided the pizzazz (and star power) for some key scenes, but the overall score by Danny Elfman sells it. The drag was you had to buy both the Elfman score and the Prince soundtrack to get the full experience back then. The good part is that Elfman scored Justice League (took over?) and incorporated bits of his iconic Batman theme as well as a smidge of John Williams' uplifting Superman theme. Bravo, Mr. Elfman!!

Call me crazy but I HATED the Prince soundtrack for Batman. Felt totally out of place given the material. Elfman’s score was brilliant however, much the same way John Williams’ score for Superman was a decade before it. Shame I can’t say the same about Elfman’s work on Justice League which felt tacked on and derivative. Ridiculous they ditched the original Junkie XL score as I was really looking forward to it.

Couldn't agree more. I was also looking forward to the Junkie XL score for Justice League. What we ended up with was patched together mess of a soundtrack. As much as people didn't like Batman V Superman, the soundtrack was awesome. Not as awesome as Man of Steel's soundtrack, but still awesome...
