A Spooktacular Question
From a (former) collector who isn't very familiar with the Spooktacular event.
I have a question for those of you who are Sideshow veterans. There is currently an in-stock item that is almost sold out. I have a coupon for $25 off that expires in a few days. Also, this item is currently offered with free shipping.
My question is should I wait for Spooktacular to possibly offer a better discount on this item (and risk having the item go on wait list status) or should I just order it with the free shipping and the $25 off coupon? Does Spooktacular typically offer discounts of more than $25 off? Thanks in advance.

The sales seemed better in previous years than last year. The items on sale last year seemed to only be the items they were having a hard time selling.

If it were me I wouldn’t take the chance. If it is almost sold out chances Sideshow will discount it even more are low. Say they discount it by 30-40 dollars you are saving an extra $5-$15. Not worth the risk in my opinion. Once it hits waitlist you can’t apply the coupon.

One in the rear or two in the bush. Haven’t heard that references in a while.

Spook will likely be mostly points. They typically don't do high percentages off pieces.I used to love this event, but it has become less and less involved. I do look forward to some variants though. Still hoping a dark armored Aspen happens.

I remember being really hyped about last years Spooktacular and expecting lots of things, then it came and went and nothing grand really happened. (For me) Maybe they just had an off year, maybe I just expected too much.

Spooktacular used to be great 10 years ago but it hasn’t been really that great the past few years.
