Awesome McHaleyArt haul

Just wanted to share a couple of eBay auctions I won tonight from McHaleyArt, another of the uber-talented forum members doing great work around here! I picked up a pair of watercolor pieces (12x16) of Spider-Man and Wolverine. I love this style! It's very loose and I think the colors are incredible.

I like these so much that I'm getting him to do a couple more of these pieces in same style: I doubt anyone would be surprised that Vision and Mysterio are my choice of subjects. I can't wait to see how they come out because the four of them on the same wall is going to make for a KILLER display.

Congrats! These are great... I can't decide which one I like better. That Spider-Man is just stunning. Anyone that hasn't looked at Mark's gallery, you should check it out. Great stuff

I'm not very artistic, but aren't watercolors hard to work with? To be able to get that kind of detail with them is awesome. I'd like to add some of Mark's work to my own collection.

Thanks for posting the pics rilynil. If the colors look as great in person as they do in these digitals, you must be loving it! Like you, I really dig this style. It reminds me somewhat of Sienkiwicz.

Thanks so much, everybody. I'm pumped about these two pieces. Vision and Mysterio painted in watercolors are bound to be AWESOME, too! These are going to make great additions to my home.

Thanks for all the nice things said guys!!! I have been a Bill Sienkiewicz fan for over 20 years. It was a thrill for me to show him my stuff and talk technique with him. For those that haven't seen this before, here'a a piece of Hellboy that I pencilled up and Bill painted over it.
