It's probably just on this proto/WIP and will be addressed on the final version but the texture on the head looks to be uneven, some part looks too smooth compare to other. Paul?

This piece has been through three layers of approvals with Universal, please don't judge this piece based on a few cell phone pics.

I need to remember to only show finished photos.

Is that a bug behind the Rex?

Hahahahahahaha, oh Paul. Implying that showing production pics of this particular product might hurt sales. As the saying goes, "not a chance in hell!"

If someone passes on this 1/20 scale rex because it's not accurate to the very last detail or because it's "too small"....hope they don't hold their breath for the next opportunity. They'll be waiting a long time.

When CC explained things after the 2 foot pic of this was posted, I knew there was nothing to worry about. I still wished I could get my hands on conveniently scaled and nicely accurate explorers for my diorama but that's them breaks. 9.99999999 out of 10 would walk over my ex wife to pre-order.

Come on, Paul. It's more of a question then a judgement.

Please keep the WIP pics coming.

This piece is fantastic Paul.

I will never understand the constant negativity around collectible products. Constructive criticism is often very useful, but in this forum (and others) I feel some people take it to an extreme, or are not constructive at all. Just to clarify this is not directed at you Thx217, you are always constructive and seem to know what you're talking about.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with the unpainted sample Paul posted. I think what is throwing people off is that fact that this model is based off of the actual CG Rex model used during that particular scene in the film.

No other company has taken on Jurassic Park recently nor can do as well as Chronicle IMO. I for one love his piece and will be sure to buy it to add to my collection.

Chronicle posts things here for advice/support not for undue criticism or unfounded opinions. I think feedback is very important, but I also think we should try and be nice and professional when it is done.
