Trying to think of any trilogy that could take SW OT's place.... not succeeding.
Indiana Jones is close, but SW has too many good lines.. and there's that fourth Indiana "mess".

It says something about TDK as a trilogy when it's still so new yet a good portion of us rank it in our top 3.
LOTR's a no-brainer; my favorite film of that trilogy is The Two Towers, which a good portion of people rank as the weakest of the three.. just shows everyone's tastes are different. All three films are Masterpieces, though... Great acting matched by amazing cinematography/etc.
