I have Allstate, the gold premium package. I don't have a rental car on my plan, but right now I'm driving my old car so it's ok. Hopefully it's just outer body damage.

well at least you have good ins. IMO i would guess the damage to be around 8k. could be a little bit more because the damage is where the gas door is. that will proable take longer to fix. when you take your car to the body shop. see if they can help you with the deductible. most shops will add this in there estimate. so you won't have to pay it. alot of shops do this, because they want your business.
