Indeed, the portrait without helmet looks better.
But it's still a meh for the helmeted one. It looks like XM used old portraits. Plus, on that WW, the helmet isn't properly glued...
For now, XM fails to convince me with their female 1/6 portraits: this one, Harley and Catwoman...

This Rebirth WW has been difficult to track down as of late (08/07/20). Looks to have gain popularity over the past few months and I have to admit, it looks great.

Once XM announced they were replacing the portraits it started to sell quickly...
I've seen a couple on eBay going for $500-$600... There's also some from China but I'm guessing those might be fakes...

My WW Rebirth finally arrived here, and I can confirm she is completely stunning in person... The redone portrait is exceptional, and hats off to XM for creating a truly sublime piece.

It looks like they didn't replace the portrait with the helmet. It looks thin in those pictures above. Is there a picture of the first batch of helmet heads they shipped? I'm on the fence with this one. I thought XM was top dog around these parts?

I did some measuring, and the lateral eye cross section on both portraits is the exact same length. Comparing the width of the portraits at eye level shows that the helmeted portrait is just slightly wider (by probably about 0.25mm) than the open portrait... So technically the helmeted portrait is not compressed compared to the open portrait... I think the issue with the helmeted portrait is that her helmet is way too tight And I say again, XM has made something special here... I would not be surprised if she will be going for four figures a year from now.
