To Paul and the folks at Chronicle: I'm sorry I doubted that you would come through with this piece! To those who said "wait until you have it in hand to pass judgement" you were right. I'm thrilled with it, biggest thing you notice in person is that the paint work is much more layered than what I can pick up with the camera on my phone. Chronicle has made this JP fan VERY happy!

Also you can hardly see the seams around the arms, very faint. I got #370. This was a hard paint job to full off, I'm sure each piece will get better and better, but thus far this is absolutely the best JP Rex statue ever done.

What I'm noticing with the photos is that the shades of brown and tan and their blending is not showing up well. Seeing it in hand makes a huge difference

I'd pay $550 for just the sculpt, base and fences. That paint job is free.
