I have Disney+, but I went to the movies. My theatres were damn near empty and I went to a matinee AND an evening, weekend show. I went because I have seen every other MCU film in the theatre and that wasn't going to change because I had the opportunity.

I want people to feel comfortable and aside from that, it is cost beneficial for families of 4+ to just rent it at home. Save the money. Eat your own candy and popcorn. I have watched movies at home on HBOMax. And for some of them I was very happy I did - WW84 comes to mind. Kong v Godzilla I would have been happy to pay the theater premium though.

Overall it just seems very shady to me that Disney is trying to play the COVID card. If that was ever the reason, they would have released it straight to Disney+ and home streaming in 2020 at the original date - not pushed it back. Deplorable behavior for sure. Just pay the woman, lord knows they have the funds.

I went to the theater as well. Every MCU movie has been in the theater and was glad I could go to this one as well. There were a grand total of 3 of us at the matinee.

Yeah, i saw every Marvel film in theathers so far as well. I think these are special times, you know. If you had a chance to see Star Wars in theathers in 1977, wouldn't you see it ? So these are the super hero times equvelante of that. I want to be able to say my grand children when i'm at my 80s or something that i saw every Marvel film in theathers back in the day. And they would be like ''wow...'' and i would be like ''yeah, i'm the best'' HA HA !

I'll be seeing Suicide Squad this week in the same theater where I saw Star Wars in 1977.

Let's be honest. You're never having children let alone grand children.
