I wish we could get an idea of the prices of these pieces. I'm under no illusions that they'll be somehow "affordable"....but with the recent price hikes, and the pricing strategies of the (so called) premium statue companies, it would be interesting to see how far off we are with our mass produced products vs these one of a kind, works of art.

Prices are often ' on request ", but I'll give prices when those are available.

CANDYGIRL CANDYGIRL CANDYGIRL CANDYGIRL CANDYGIRL
WOOOP !
MATTHIAS VERGINER
His statues are made of wood, and he manages to "capture" the softness of the skin. These pretty plump characters are aesthetic, harmonious, incarnate, funny, simply beautiful.
Matthias Verginer seems to send us an ethical message, referring us to our animality, to our place on this Earth, to the interactions between species. For this, he mixes bodies with animals. The round body then appears naked, in all simplicity, just as if life had just begun.
It is both poetic and incredibly modern.
