yeah there's no program in existence that can touch the capabilities of photoshop. most of the features in PS are not readily known to the public (unless taught or sought out) yet used by every pro in the biz.
ive been using PS since v2 or 3 (i dont recall). v1 was only available for the mac and it had no palettes. imagine that.
that being said, LightRoom is slowly becoming my choice when it comes to editing and processing photos. Adobe has taken all the best parts of editing photos in PS and added a workflow elements to LR.
LR is bad ass.

working on composition over all with another low light shot using the 17-70 and bouncing the 430 off of the ceiling. the focus is on the left ear to left wrist area.
hand held / 33mm / F3.5 / 1/800 / ISO400 / Partial Metering / EC+2

Nice pics Richard. I'd like to see a few taken with out those spot lights, but just in the normal day light.
Oh man, I don't have any camera now for 1-2 weeks

I purchased a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 a while ago and installed it on my PC but have been too lazy to use it, is this the software you guys are using, or previous versions of it?

Guys, I was browsing gaybay looking for a grip and I found this..
http://cgi.ebay.com/LCD-Battery-Grip...QQcmdZViewItem
It has a build in LCD with extra features.
What do you think?
