In college Kelly played basketball and volleyball here, www.avila.edu and I was the athletic trainer at the time. She hurt her ankle during basketball and we got to know each other and once her season was over we started dating and the rest is history.

well here we also call it soccer. football or footy is aussie rules. i think its mostly people from overseas (particularly europe) that will call it football. But soccer continues to grow and grow here at a very fast rate. Since the aussies did well at the last world cup its become so much more popular and lots of parents send there kids to play soccer because less injuries than footy

That is true! We do not have american football at my university, www.parkathletics.com and I am glad.
A football team would almost double the number of athletes on campus and we do not have the infrastructure to support that right now. I love football, but hate working the sport.
