Been catching up on my TIVO and had 1 1/2 seasons of Revolution to watch, I have to say this series is a lot better then I thought it would be, I like the sci-fi twist they threw in season 2...

Revolution: 8/10

We've got about three episodes to go in the final season of Southland. It's been a great series and I'm keen to see how they wrap it up. I can't believe more people aren't watching this one.

Man I loved Southland. Sucks that the series is done. It didn't feel like a planned conclusion to me. It's gonna sting a bit Nick.

Hmmm. We keep wondering how they'll wrap things up. Oh well, still been a bloody good ride though.

Just finished True Detective and I was hooked from the get-go. The season finale was not quite what I had hoped and it felt a little anticlimactic but it was great nonetheless. Might just have to re-watch it sometime soon.

Now I gotta see what the fuss is about on Southland.

Orange is the New Black (6/10) - Not as good as I thought it'd be. I find the most interesting part of the show to be when it focuses on the histories of the various inmates, rather than the main storyline involving Piper. The only development of hers that I found interesting was in the final episode of S1. Everything else is based off of her constantly-shifting standing with the other inmates. One character complained that they were getting whiplash from how often Piper changes her mind - well, I'm suffering from it, too.

Jekyll (3/10) - Steven Moffat of Doctor Who and Sherlock fame wrote this six episode mini, and after watching two episodes, I can't take anymore. I'm done.

It's boring and slow, but surprisingly convoluted. One thing that deserves a thumbs-up is James Nesbitt's performance as Jekyll and Hyde; in fact, I have read that his transformation to Hyde is mostly physical, rather than by using extensive makeup or digital effects - can anyone confirm that? If so, it's pretty amazing how different he looks from one role to the other.

Thor - TDW = 7/10
was a nice visual experience. i liked it just as much as the first one. no more no less.
i was really hoping they would have broke out Destroyer to battle those elves.
and i just wanted to say Thro's mom was bad ass and would have killed Makelth (however you spell it) easily if it wasn't for his muscle butting in.
