Alex, Looks great. Can you throw up a sample portrait look with Star Lord? Not crazy about the IMAX thingy.

I'm thinking portrait may be the better look but it's hard to say because the empty space on the sides throwes me off. I realize we still have a few more characters to add so the Landscape may be cool. Don't care about the credits, myself.

If you were to keep Thanos centered on the portrait style, would StarLord have to be a bit smaller to fit? I'm ok with that.



Alex, Which do you feel is better, Portrait or Landscape? Since you know better how you might fill the spaces at the sides of the landscape or the top of the portrait. Thanks, very excited to see this beauty coming together.

Looks great! My only concern is with Starlord and Ronan being so prominent how much space will that leave for the other characters? Rocket and Groot were my personal favorites and I was hoping they would have a larger impact. I'm really excited to see the progress though. You are kicking a$$ Alex!

Really digging the colors too. Also love the title with the Sony Walkman beside it (cool touch).

I'm happy for title without credit block too, and as Luminous commented, that planetary horizon backdrop looks awesome.

Star Lord looks cool, (although I don't think we need the headphones around his neck with the Walkman placed next to the title). And would assume he would need to be 'smaller' in size to balance the characters and allow for all of the other Guardians.

Normally I prefer portrait as they are easier to hang but I actually prefer landscape on this one so far and as a fan of title and credits, I think it has a nice balance to it with them either side at the bottom.
Looking forward to seeing more, it's looking great so far.

I entertained the idea of landscape and now it's more appealing to me than portrait. Landscape is working well for the comp and title. Here's portrait with a large Star Lord with helmet. This could go any which way, to be honest I'm stumped on a portrait comp.



The villains seem like they clumsily take up the bottom half with a harsh transition into the top of the poster. Landscape worked better because Ronan seemed predominate and everything flowed out from him.

Either way I still have a lot of inking ahead on Star Lord so there's no rush to decide. Might Livestream later today.
