Very nice cabinets. Well done. I believe the glass is the way to go as it shows your pieces well.

I have my heart set on something like the attached pic here. Not sure how to go about it. Any guidance would be great.

I really like that too. However, that set up probably costs in the 5k range.

There will be a way around full cost. That's what I'm after.

Store closing. Student pricing. Something.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

That is a nice display. It would not be difficult to make the outer portion with 2x4 and drywall. The expense will come from the tempered glass shelfs and large glass on the front. I am not sure how much custom cut tempered glass cost?

I like the permenant display option as well, but I decided to go the mobility route with my displays. I am glad I did because I moved last year and was able to take my cabinets with me. The features I look for in a case are mobility, three sided viewing, mirror, lights, and access. I looked forever and could not find anything for under $2K. The only thing I would change on my displays is the color. I could have went white, but the oak grain shows up with mahogany finish, so I went with the stain.

I may have found my answer. A small store that sells retail glass cabinet displays has some nice stuff. I stopped in today On my way! Home from work. This might come together nicely.
