If a dedicated Cinemaquette section were to be placed on the forum, it would not prevent the antagonistic behaviour by some.
People whom have no real interest in specific collectibles should simply not post in those related threads.

Respect each other and what they collect. I have no idea why a few people can make you even consider closing this section. We will report them to you and you can make them aware of the misconduct.

A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking.

Great post from Galactacus, shame it has to be said though...this section/forum should be about appreciating the hobby, great art, sharing opinions, constructive criticism, and all that good stuff

Shutting the board down wouldn't get rid of the problem anyway, it'd just push it somewhere else, so ultimately would solve nothing. The problem is people, on both sides, who just can't tolerate other people's opinions, and who take everything way too personally, and those people need to take a breath and remember that this is collecting, not open warfare. As such it should be fun to hang out here, not be some kind of adversarial grudge match, otherwise what's the point?

We're all different and we all have different tastes, and while most, if not all, of us have at one time or another been drawn into one silly confrontation or another, I think more than anything else we need to remember, understand, and accept that opinions are just that, opinions, that tastes vary, and that no one has the right to belittle someone else's opinions and viewpoint, whether we happen to agree with it or not. And I honestly think most of the problems come from those who take it upon themselves to try and change or invalidate other people's opinions, which really is nothing short of a fool's game, not to mention an act of supreme arrogance by those who just can't accept anyone daring to have a different opinion than theirs.

Diversity is a good thing folks, just as are differences of opinion, that's what leads to debate and conversation. Let's just keep it respectful and civil towards each other, and if we can all manage to do that then there really shouldn't be much of a problem. It's really not too much to ask, is it?

Then again what do I know, I just type here...

I'm Galactus, I've been posting since the beginning of the universe. It's surprising I don't have more

And just to reassure people, this section is NOT slated to be shut down. I was merely mentioning that the number of problems we have had here caused us to discuss the option.
