This looks so much better in the photos. Also Jerry said their is at least 2 other MK characters that will be followed after raiden in the "Legacy" line. I'm actually tempted to pre order this now and sell my previous raiden statues for this one.

Man, I wish it was easier to produce alt costumes for statues. I love Raiden, the pose and the base, just not that costume. Regardless, the costume detail does indeed look great.
Costume. I don't think I mentioned that. lol

Say it some more!
Yeah I think they should have gone all white just for something different and it's not like the people that were gonna ordered would have likely passed.
But people are drawn to color which is likely why Raiden ended up with this costume to begin with.

Definitely should have been MK9 or X. Happy with MK2 though.
Also it looks waaaaaay better fully sculpted than MM.

You got that right. Definitely something I could get once I see if the line is going anywhere and floating a 2 year loan for a PreOrder.

Approximately a dozen or so characters I'd buy. I think only Subz and Scorps are klassic (in this case, MK1 only) buys for me. Need Raiden in MKX. Then...I'm realizing I'm boned, because the rest I want from MK9. Based on repeated statements regarding the viability of future MK9 sculpts, it appears I shouldn't hold my breath. I'd like to add to the two PCS MK pieces I have.
Although...has anyone ever asked for redant's take on MK9 statues?

There's been talk of 1/3 MK9 and MKX.

Ah yes, I do recall something like that. And wasn't 1:3 Kitana from MK9?
Unfortunately, that doesn't really help me. I think I'm done with 1:3. Maybe that MKX Raiden, if Jerry gets around to it.
I'm surprised - PCS seems to be doubling down on 1:3. I think 1:3 will hit the wall, after 3-4 pieces are in collector's hands.
Talk of a 'bubble' all the time in this hobby. It seems to me that the size and cost of 1:3 would exacerbate that problem.
