As far as I was aware, Shard is a mortal in the underworld. I never thought this dead version made sense, but I dont think I have read any of the comics released after the beginning of the year.

When the other was leaked last year we all thought she would be on spooktacular last year. Glad they put her up this year and its a good thing the owner of that shard sold a few months back because Halloween. Wonder if he got an inside scoop from SS to let it go before it went up for sale ;-).
I dont get the $100 increase in pricing? the sword on her chest is slightly different, does that mean she had to have a complete different sculpt? grey paint cant be $100...

Honestly, the price increase is because they can. I'm sure they saw the one piece they accidentally shipped out sell on eBay for a pretty high markup.

Her variant could reflect some future or something; maybe a vision or possible fate?
Otherwise I love how her cape pops against all the desaturated browns and grays and the way the portrait is done is nice. Got that cool cataracts thing going.
