In the USA the FDA regulates LASERs.They can only be within a certain power level for consumer products.I believe they now have a ban on all higher powered LASERs coming from China. Stupid people are buying high powered ones from China and pointing them at planes and everything else.

You don't see any similarities at all between the pose of the CM, and the new SSC P1? I like the pose on it also, but they're basically the same. The Sideshow version is slightly more relaxed, has it's leg raised a little and it looking in the opposite direction, but they are similar. I'm not knocking the pose on the Sideshow one, my point was in reply to JG that it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if Prime 1 used a pose that we may have seen before, so long as is the right choice of pose for their large scale Predator and the base design they choose. I really don't mind what they go with as long as it's aesthetically pleasing and faithful to the Predators posture and movement style etc.

Yeah - still not getting it. The perspective you showed for the CM is almost sideways on & looking down - when it's next to you (viewed from the front and straight ahead - it's WAY wider in every respect (especially the unmasked head - oh - and the body - and the legs, and the arms, and . . . .. ah - yu get the point )
Anyways - back on topic - FOR THE P2 - I'd still prefer something OTHER than "gargoyle base + standing upright".

There have been so many awesome poses in kits, prepaints, comics and fan art that it would seem a shame to use this large-scale opportunity to deliver a relatively boring pose.
Time for something different after all these years.

Can't wait. Sideshow Predator 2 was a disappointment considering the price and missing details that people pointed out. At least we can safely assume that the base on this one will be fantastic.

Fingers crossed, I really can't wait to see how this one turns out. I think I'll start putting a little money aside each week in preparation

I'm sure that it is still a go. There is just too much interest and potential to let it go. Prime 1 just seem to have their heads up Batman's ass, so everything else they do seems to be a slow trickle compared to all things Gotham.

No, it's only been a little tease so far, I doubt they are far enough along to fully announce it yet. I suspect we'll see an Alien first anyway. Hopefully we'll not have to wait too long though.

Agree. I don't understand the love for predator pieces by SS. For such an awesomely busy characters they sure make pretty boring statues off them.
