well i think the 5 extra dollars was worth it for the lost FF Jack Kirby story thats on the DVD that comes with the figure

Didnt want the DVD so just picked up the "statue" at lunch.

The board is chrome, the Surfer himself is not.

He appears to be the comic version of Surfer for the most part, no ear bulges or obvious eye pupils. So I went for it. 14.99 if you dont want the movie.

The stand seems to have a bit of a seam in it, I haven't opened it yet.

I think it is worth getting if your into all things Surfer.

If your not a huge Surfer nut, you can probably pass.

Surfers arms are rubbery, the body more solid.
There are seams as you can see.
Eyes are painted white.

basically an action figure/statue sort of deal going on here.

Oh yeah, it comes with a comics on DVD too. So you get more then just the collectible figurine.
