I know most LCS's do not make much from selling Sideshow. I worked at a comic book shop and we had a 20% discount except for anything from Sideshow, which included Hot Toys. The profit of margin was so small on them that we didn't get any discount on them. We paid full price on them.

Second that. My buddy Jon runs Beyond Comics in MD and he basically makes more profit percentage from POP! toys than SS. Those are basically just show pieces to get people in the store shopping around LOL.
He still has that awful SS Reeve Superman on display...poor guy.

The shop my friend owns usually only orders pieces that have been pre-ordered by customers ans put a 10% non-refundable deposit down.

I'm late to the party here, but I also couldn't pass on the exclusive version of this awesome Superman. I'm glad that I was able o grab one before it was sold out!
I've discovered these forums thanks to Nearmint/Secter Sanctuary a little over two years ago when I was watching his video review of the Sideshow's Premium Format Superman which I also own BTW.

Wonder when we will be getting news on the Bat and Wonder Woman to go with this. I was lucky enough to get the Ex, and now I am just excited to finish up this trio. Can’t wait to see what’s in store.

I'm hoping they reworked Batman's pose.

I don't have any crouching batman pieces, so I don't mind the pose. I am more concerned about the big, unknown base.

I don’t mind the crouching at all. I have been eyeballing the XM Hush Batman. But not in love with it overall so was hoping to see this sooner to make my final call.
But the base does look rather large on this, and I have no idea what it could be.
It looks like some sort of rock/ledge. You can see what looks like a fence by his right foot. And there is some sort of railing going across the edging by his left foot if you zoom in. Other than that..no clue to what it is.

A statue where the pose is crouching is OK but I just remember years ago DC did a power girl and huntress statue and it was on a rooftop and power girl was standing up leaning against a chimney stack but they have the huntress crouching in front of her. The thing that was bad is the fact that she was crouching and they had designed her cape to be 3/4ths of the way in front of her so you really couldn’t even see her costume and if you turn the statue to get a better view of The Huntress then you got the back of power girl.
I would like to think if Batman is in a crouching pose we will see a huge flowing cape behind him but there will be enough of the character that the crouching won’t interfere with seeing his full costume
