I think this looks awesome!
Glass eyes especially are essential for this kind of piece, still can't believe they didn't use them on their hatching JP Rex at that price point.

Cool concept, but 1/2 scale is a no sale for me.

Its cool long overdue but it should of been 1:1 as this is a large egg in the movie.

I'm not actually sure it's 1/2 though.

Piece is 13.7cm and a real ostrich egg just 15.5cm, and I don't know about JW for certain but in JP they used real bird eggs to hatch the dinosaurs.

Maybe it's a little underscaled, but I don't think it's 1/2 simply because there's no such thing, not even close, as 27cm eggs.

Well, we never actually see this egg next to a person in the movie. The DoF and base actually make it look pretty small in the scene, if anything.

The base looks to be ~1" of added height by itself(assuming the egg sits down in a bit) so figure ~4" for the egg. My CC raptor egg is ~7" so this should be 8" or more for a larger dino at 1/1, seems like 1/2 scale to me...

I agree, it's too small. The price is okay, but these need to be much bigger to get most collectors attention.
