Wow! Guess someone at Showtime really dug the new box set. I know I did, so great news for me. Hope it turns out to be something good.

I am! I am hoping for the best, and being a DL fan as well as an OG TP fan I'm sure there will be something to love about this, if not all of it.

Here are the list of expressions I'm expecting to go through watching this season.

I don't have Showtime...lame. That said, I got some pie at Twede's a while back. That counts for something.

Did you watch the original series, or have you seen any David Lynch films? If not, then yeah, that was probably a hard watch. The narrative in TP and most DL films is almost secondary to the mood and ambiance. His work is never really straightforward, and it's not for everyone. I myself gave up on his last film Inland Empire because it was just "too David Lynch" and I didn't really enjoy it.

Personally I'm really very happy with the first two episodes, as good as I hoped, but didn't really expect. They managed to capture the feeling of the original while bringing it into the present. Glad to get closure to the original series and very excited to see what else the season brings.
