I'd go with the red because the custom is a little too busy with the colors for me. I do wish that the guts were painted that well on the red though. I like the face and the skin tone better on the custom as well.

Repainting statues is not necessary for every statue, although quite a few would improve with it. Not ARH but I had my smaller Death Dealer repainted by Polyxeni Dalla and it is now in a different league.

It looks good although I'd prefer the standard versions personally.

My interest in repainting is for the upcoming Tarzan Primal Rage. It's a grail Wishlist piece for me come to 3D life and is like to perfect it!

I am sure if Arahom had 100% of his time to spend on painting only that he would do an awesome job too.
