I just hope we don't get the Iron Patriot painters working on this one. Spidey has a ton of black lines.
In-hand pics for me

Original Spidey comiquette should still maintain its value no matter what. It's an awesome classic pose with a great ES. This one might be better overall but there are going to be thousands of them. Personally for me I'd want the best representation of Spidey I could get, so how many there are doesn't matter.

Yeah, more than most statues, the paint will make or break this one. I know everyone loves the first comiquette, but the lines on mine were not done well, and it was too glossy for my tastes. The JSC comiquette had a matte finish, but the line-work on mine was even worse than on the first comiquette. So as excited as I am, I'm also a bit worried.

In all honesty ES is not a big thing for me. As long as they deliver on QC.

There are a bunch of lines to be painted straight. I have my doubts it will be done but my hopes are high.

If there is no EX, I wouldn't be surprised if this piece is open ES given the popularity of the character.
Maybe Igo can chime in and tell us if there will be an EX.

killah,, def a day 1 PO for me possibly.
there are concerns about that arm holding up over time. one can only guess the main body and legs are going to be hollow.
just a thought, but i think it might be in SS's best interest and disclose what they plan on doing to address that arm holding up over long periods of time on display. steel rods?
i think if they disclosed this information to the fans it may give collectors more confidence that the statue wont be compromised over a period of time on display. and possibly wont deter many to want to make the purchase and increase their sales.
of course QC is always a major issue with some. but my main concern is that arm holding up.
