Positive there will be. There was already one done for Mystique which made the statue look much much better.

Damn it! I've made up my mind ...I'm passing on this. I just don't like the portrait.

I guess I'm waiting again for another Psylocke PF. So disappointed ...

Isn’t it possible that Disney rejected the initial portrait? I keep reading people saying that SS dropped it after fan reaction, but do we know that conclusively?

Its about to sell out, and we get the portrait we prefer.

You would care if you were the collector who wanted the original portrait shown because it was one of the most stunning portraits SS has ever made.

and it’s not the portrait “we” prefer, it’s what “you” prefer.

It sold out because there are so few of it made, which means it was a weak preorder. SS isn’t dumb, they knew they could sell 1800 of these so they didn’t make a 1000/2000 edition size because they also knew they screwed the portrait pooch. People would have bought Psylocke just as fast as Rogue if she looked as good.

Nope. SS never said anything.

I’m not even sure where the rumor started that they made two portraits from the get-go. It seems so odd to debut her at a major convention with one portrait, then say nothing when it’s replaced.

Like the Rogue was never at NYCC...except she was....the smoke and mirrors is unnecessary for things like this. I would have more respect and understanding if Disney really did not approve the portrait rather than what I believe was pandering to social media and con comments.

Plus, doesn’t SS not reveal anything until the license holder approves? XM does that stuff, but they admit it had to be changed bc of XYZ.
