Does having 1/150 matter ? I didn't know if some people cared about having #1 of a statue

It’s a personal thing. I like low numbers for my own statues. But the numbers don’t really matter or change anything for most people. On the aftermarket I wouldn’t pay more or expect to get more for a low number, condition is more important, but others may disagree. As far as I know the different parts of a statue are produced in batches (all arms, all heads, etc) and then they take a part from the batches to put together a whole statue anyway so your #1 isn’t literally the first of parts, the numbers are just labels to note and maintain the edition size.

I'm not too bothered by low numbers. I guess having no.1 is a novelty. I used to assume no.1 was no.1 off the production line, and showed more love care and attention than say no.500 ..the reality is, no.1 could be no.50 off the production line
Here's a thought: When Sideshow film Out of the Box, what number is their piece? ..or is it an AP?

and the Base no. 127, left arm no. 99, right arm 479 usw.
And if the guy who starts painting the number on the base starts from the other side of the table, the last painted base has the No 1

Probably
Something else i think i've figured out: My guess is, they make more portraits than are required. The best one's end up being shipped with the pieces. The one's that failed to make to grade become the spare back-ups. I've received a couple of replacement portraits from Sideshow, an then tend to address one issue (the complaint) and have other small QC issues.

I mean, I'm not chasing 1/150 but think it would be cool to have. Just like i think it woulda been cool to get the 12/400 SS Juggs. Maybe "holy" was to serious of a word to use here.
I'm new, I'm sure I'll learn.
