Vi har en tegneserie messe i danmark, men der har jeg heller aldrig deltaget.

Hvis jeg skal afsted til en messe, skal det være Sandiego Comic Con.

Comin to America is so pricy.

Not only shipping is expenisve but traveling is too.

I would like to come to NY though also Miami.


I would like to compare prices. How much does it cost in the U.S. for a cinema ticket? or to rent a DVD?

Well for Cinema tix: (NY prices)

Regular: $12.50
Matinee: $10.00
IMAX: $14.50

DVD rental: No one rents them anymore really!

If they do its through netflix and is $10 per month for as many movies you can possibly watch.

In Sweden the Cinema is about 14.00-16.00 USD depending on the movie but most 16.00 USD. But now that the dollar has gone down we Scandinavians should really plan a trip to the States!!.. I was actually looking for NY Comicon this year but other stuff came up. Vin REaper are you from NY?.. Is the NY con something to visit?.. I hear that the hotel prices are very high during the con. I'm going to go someday. I dont think next year but maybe in 2010. VP is it always in the same dates? or do the dates change?... geto10 är du svensk?..

Hey Pulento!

Yep! I was born and raised in Manhattan.

The NYC Comic Con is held annually but not on a specified date. This year it was from April 21st thur 23rd. Next year is February 8 thru the 10th. You may find the hotels to be cheaper then since its the dead of winter and there are hotels near the Javits center where it is held that on't fill up at that time of year.

Other then that the prices are around the same as they would be in Paris or London. Ranging from $100 per night and up! If you cam with friends it wouldn't be so bad.

It is definitely worth coming to, I think second only to the San Diego Comic Con. And you will be hanging with the Statueforum's NY Mafia after the days events. How can you beat that? LOL!

Definitely let me know if you plan on coming and we can do some research for you on hotels, Con Tix and such.
