Yes, they look really corny, but anything drawn by George Perez has got serious weight to it! I love the SS...I would actually consider some MBs from them. They are sweet.

I betcha if we started a SS thread over in the Bowen room, it'd pick up steam!

WOW, no one mentioned Avengers annual # 10 with the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and the first Rogue. This was a great annual

As a letdown annual, was the Captain America one with Wolverine on the cover. The cover looked awesome, the story stunk and sucked big time

Avengers Annual 14 was also really good and it tied in with the FF annual from that year in such a way that you could read them separately or together and still have gotten a complete story. It's mostly forgotten now, because the Skrulls all regained their shape changing abilities a few years later in the Silver Surfer title.
