XM Studio gave us a lesson of what great customer service is!
Sideshow should take notes...

Is that a clue that XM may be getting the Predator license and that they have a sample of SS' Predator Maquette for reference, and maybe vastly improved on?

Why is there an unreleased SSC piece in the background?

The full lips and side-glance is definitely the way to go.
She looks amazing. I love this portrait.
I imagine that the 300 approved heads look just like this one?

SSC uses the same factory for some of their pieces.

What cracks me up is if this is true which it looks like it might be true makes me sad that Sideshow can't get their pieces to look as nice as Xm pieces!! If that is a production piece it's evident and true that you can in fact have your production pieces to look like prototype!
Yo Sideshow you should seriously take notes and watch Xm and see how a statue should really be made!! Looks like some one needs to go back to school or atlleast some online classes!!

Now now, no SS bashing here please. No need for it. Just be happy that XM exists and provides us with what we want and that's that.

Perhaps its because XM has decided to work closer with their factory workers to make sure the production pieces are "put together" the way XM wants them to. Perhaps its also because XM decided to check up on the factory workers and the production pieces more often than SSC.
In any case, we now know that it is possible to make the production pieces to look exactly like the prototype.
