The show is produced by Warner Bros. Television, hence they can easily show any DC product on the show. And although there may not be any visual Marvel reference, the writers make up for it by including different Marvel character references in the dialogues from time to time.

It's important to leave it like that, so that they have those hilarious staircase conversations .

Yeah that was hilarious.. I believe he had the Luke ROTJ Force FX. My only nitpick was that they removed the idle hum sound effect during post production .

In order from left to right
Gotham Knight's Batman statue
Firestorm action figure
Neal Adams Batman Black and White statue
I've never seen that show but I'm tempted to watch it now just for the geek props.

Do check it out from season 1. Episodes are filled with comic and sci-fi references and all are hilarious characters, especially everyone's fav Sheldon. But I also feel Lenoard's character is underrated, he is really what keeps the balance of the extreme geek and normalcy in the show.
Also if anyone is interested check out sheldonshirts.com, which maintains the list of the famous t-shirts worn by the cast members.

Yes, my whole family loves this show. In fact, my wife is starting to get annoyed because my daughters have started to dress in DC clothes (belt buckles and shirts).
She blames me for their geekness now. Makes me proud !

I hate to admit this but I already bought my 14 month old daughter an authetic Star Trek Next Gen Starfleet uniform... She'll fit in it at the age of 3 or 4.

That's cool ! You gotta start'em early.
My kids are both in their teens. Their girl-friends think they're dorks for liking comic related stuff and knowing the history of alot superhero characters both (DC and Marvel), but their guy-friends think it's pretty cool.
