Oh, well, at least they got the belt placement right this time.
I'm not a huge Spidey fan, but I don't get the damaged masked head either. To me, if that's ripped up, some parts of his suit would be as well.

Also, I always thought Spidey's suit was like a big spandex onesie, I don't recall him having a belt? But, like I said, never a huge fan so I don't really know.

Oh, it's not an actual belt, it's just the way I call that red strip so we know what we're talking about.

I know that's one of XM's fortes, but here it feels like COH for the sake of COH to me.

I wonder if XM can pull off a a seam which runs along the webbing pattern on the neck or maybe on the collar? Then it would look like theres no seam at all

To be fair, he is wearing a mask, there should be a seam.

The seam wouldn't be that high up.

It doesn't look like a regular clothes seam, either, just like an ugly, unnecessary statue seam in my opinion.

^^Good find from a wide variety Shoo!!

well in that case i say (if XM can do this), be the first ones to tackle the Spideyseam problem! Theres always a distinct line with seams whereas with spiderman you have a whole lot of webbing lines to work a seam line with.

Try and make a seam that works along the webbing line of the suit. I know this might be such a mission to achieve but who else has done this?? It would be next level seaming and it would be a seam you definately wont see.

I suggested this on the SSC Spidey PF thread but the idea got drowned immediately. baffles the mind

Well, maybe someone should have been saying it because at this point the utter lack of buzz over this piece is screaming disinterest. How the hell that is happening when it comes to an XM Spider-Man? People have been waiting to see this piece since XM announced Spidey's rogues, but this thread has 180 replies in 4 months. SSC Got that in 24 hrs after they announced their PF.

Honestly, I thought that when XM announced their Spider-Man this place was going to EXPLODE!!! Instead it is more of a whimper. I am not saying this piece is bad, but I won't say I think it looks like anything overly impressive. While the sculpt is amazing, the design with Spidey being so tiny in comparison to everything else, and the fact that it looks like Spidey is running from the Sinister 6 not fighting them, makes this entire piece lack the focus that it should have, and that is on the Spidey figure. Bare minimum I think the figure needs to be at least 25-40% bigger to make this pop the way it should, and to be honest I think the entire figure should be redone. Now that is just my opinion, but judging by the utter lack of reaction this is getting there are a lot who share it, but don't want to say it.
