This show returns tomorrow night, I'll probably watch it but more of curiosity than because I'm invested in the show. I want to see how they handle the "Nick goes and lives among the zombies" storyline. I wish I was kidding, but no that is really what happened. Sigh.

I'll watch it too but I am looking more forward to the return of The Strain next weekend.

I'm not invested in this show at all. I usually just put it on to have something running in the background. As my DVR reminded me the show has come back, I will ride it out until Negan and TWD gang return.

I have no concern or empathy for any of these people. I'm just glad that Travis is off with this equally annoying son. Perhaps this will make the show better for me because that man driving me nuts.

The mid-season premiere was interesting. Despite being fleshed out through a few flashbacks and an entire episode devoted to his survival skills, or lack thereof, I still find the character of Nick to be highly unlikable. I mean what kind of self–righteous assclown abandons his family to go commune with the walking dead? The only thing holding this series back is the poor characterization.

I was surprised that all those walkers which fell out of the hotel were able to walk. At those heights heads would have been smashed and bones crushed which should have kept them from walking.

They could kill off the entire cast next episode and I wouldn't miss any of them.

I was thinking the same thing. They would have been crawling if anything else.

Cast sucks. Lost interest in early season 1 yet struggled through it. Tried first episode of season 2 but I'm done. Painful to watch.

After watching episode 2 it amazes me that after all they've been through, this group of survivors are still a bunch of idiots making one moronic decision after another. It's a straight up miracle they're still alive.

Nick - hmmm.... let's steal something from the group of armed drug dealers that I easily could've stashed in the allotted cart because, well... we need to setup what skills (knowledge of drugs and how to manipulate people into getting what I want) I can offer this new community that's taken me in.

Strand & Madison - screw scavenging the hotel for supplies, let's get drunk and make a bunch of noise! Why? Because we should stop for some character development and forget we're living in a zombie apocolayse with no weapons to defend ourselves outside the liquor bottles from behind the bar.
