Need some display advice!
My Detolf is getting a bit packed and I fear that the glass shelves won't hold. Unfortunately my space is small so to get another Detolf won't be ideal. Do you guys have suggestions for good sturdy wall mounted display cases? Are there any cases out there like the Detolf but maybe smaller? Also want is the best but cheapest way to light up my case?
Thanks in advance guys!

ouch one detolf :/ if you got decent backing I'd suggest putting in some shelving. very space conscious, nicely priced, and you'll get the most display space out of it

Try hanging these upside down from the wood top.

I got some more LED hockey puck lights. Big Lots has them in packs of 4 for $5 each. They have adhesive backings on them, so you don't have to drill screws into walls or shelves. I decided to place them facing up for now because otherwise there'd be nothing to illuminate the top shelf.

I went that route and turns out to be a pain. Batteries to replace, another remote to use for off and on. I ended up removing all but a couple.

I hated them as well, led strips are more work but better.

If you saw a heat wave, would you wave back?

Ikea has some pretty inexpensive lights, even though al a carte. I use the Stribergs in my Bestas.
For your limited space I agree with dao2, wall shelving. You can space it and be as artistic as you like with it. Should hold your current scale choice just fine.

Lol, it just takes a few seconds to press the tops of those lights to activate/deactivate them.
