Question Silver Surfer Splash - Ariel Olivetti

Thinking of buying this for $600. Is that a good deal.

Thumbs up

I like it, I don't know whether it is worth the money but it seems okay. Ultimately if you like it Bulls go for it.

$600 seems a bit steep. but if you have the money and you like it, go for it!

cool looking art Bulls ... I have no clue about what constitutes a "ggod deal" ... comic art seems to be all over the place ... I would suggest dropping HFA a PM

There is a lot of good cheap stuff out there, budget is always going to be the deciding factor but i'd rather have one great piece i really want than 3 or 4 lesser pages. I do put some in a portfolio but i like to see my stuff on the wall. I want to see stuff I Like. Don't be put off by other peoples well meaning intentions (including mine if i disagree ).

I have bought some nice pieces this month and have rounded it off with a great John Byrne commission. The OA junkie is looking elsewhere now but the wallet says leave it alone for a few months. It is really hard as I have seen 2 (expensive) covers i'd like. (not Artemis, i'd buy them in a second )

For sale for Just $200

I agree this Jackson Guice piece is not Starlin or Byrne but the price relects that. My point is that there are some little gems to be had for little cost if budget is a problem. This would look good with a simple mat black frame.
Whatever floats your boat.

If you really like the piece, buy it. If you're just looking for an OA fix, pass. Only you know how you feel when you look at it, and $600 is not a lot of money to spend on a piece if you REALLY love it.
