Tekken on PS3

Anyone buying this on the PS3? Might be something to pick up for the Christmas holidays.

Haven't played Tekken since number 2.
Wasn't sure about this one.
Did look a massive leap forward but there are loads of characters

I LOVED the first 3 tekkens. I remember when I first saw the first tekken and being blow away by it, but tbh it hasn't really progressed any since no.3, just more characters. Even graphically it is left behind by the others. 3D fighter wise dead or alive was my favourite (virtua fighter was a tad clinical for me).

Honestly, I had Tekken 5 DR which I got from PSN before this one. First drawback : Tekken 5 was 1080p, Tekken 6 is 720p and nothing really justicies this new release. The new characters are cheesy and the game is un-interesting...so you can just skip it...

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Ive liked previous Tekken's, but my friend brought his copy round and I wasnt immediately grabbed. The art style seemed a bit grotesque, some characters were overly muscled. It just didnt feel as good as some of the previous ones.
