Interesting to see though that the only time they met he got !%&!%&!%&!%&!%& slapped...
A lot of people make bones of this vulnerability to magic...let's remember here that Superman is INVULNERABLE. The supposed vulnerability just means that is one area he is not INVULNERABLE to...it doesn't mean every time someone says abracadabra he falls to the floor crying.
I myself are vulnerable to punches, but that doesn't mean that every time someone punches me I die.

Superman is MORE VULNERABLE to magic than your average human.
In terms of power, he still outpowers Thor (IMO) but his vulnerability to magic is his Achilles heal.

Superman sucks but I still see him kicking Thor's ass and taking his hammer.
Someone tell me how Thor can beat a guy that fast who shoots lasers from his eyes and can freeze you with his breath before you can see him coming?

Does Norse Myth, god power equal Magic? I never have considered Thor magic, just mythologically, god-like.
Superman would hammer Goldilocks.

You are really late to the game, this happen a few years back in a book by Marvel and DC where the Avengers and JLA fought. Thor actually lost that fight but it could have gone either way. Supes was barely standing afterwards. Thor 6/10 fights.

The same way he fight any character this fast and shoots lasers from his eyes by upping the ante and going for the god blast. I doubt freeze breath would work on a Norse god who is use to cold and flies in space. Its interesting that Thor did use any of his energy attacks on Supes but Supes sure pulled out the heat vision in a heart beat. I wonder why the writers chose to do that?

I didn't know Thor used magic because I thought he just commanded lightning. That's not the same as Shazam.
I got Supes for this one. How many times did Thor get beat when he was with the Avengers?
