It is more Illum most definitely but HOTH is much more known so i'm sure that's why they went with a "Hoth" version.

It's definitely Ilum as it's based on Tartakovsky's CW series. Yoda has never been shown on Hoth that I know of. I think it's just a matter of people/fans identifying a snow/ice planet with that iconic location. GG obviously made a mistake.

This one would even look good as a solo desk piece.

I agree. This is probably my favorite interpretation of Yoda in statue form thus far.

AGREED.

Tartakovsky's is the best thing that ever happened to star wars aside fromthe OT. I was really bummed that they didn't complete the animated maquette line from the series.

As was I. I had them all, loved them and was excited at the prospect of future releases. When GG killed the line I was upset. As my tastes changed I eventually sold all of mine however. Padme and Asajj were my favorites.

Exactly, I'm really tempted to get this one as a standalone piece. Love Yoda, and love this statue.

I exchanged padme snowbunny maquette for alien vs predator requim diorama from sideshow.
I still have the other ones boxed.
I had to used the space for the minik bust collection.
So now it's a special SW room, just for me
