I think it started airing back in the early 2000s, maybe later. It was funny seeing Americans lose it over DBZ about ten years later than a good chunk of the rest of the world, as it reminded me of the craze we had already lived around here. Last February 15 marked the 25th anniversary of its original airing (1990) around my parts, here in Catalonia.
It was HUGE back then and still has a strong following, so I'd say it'd be a very lucrative license indeed and Jerry would surely do it justice.
Not for me, though. Not interested at all, except for perhaps an Android #18 - I have a soft spot for her.
My suggestions for 1:3 licenses also apply here. I'd buy those either way.

back in high school like 2002 i used to watch dragonball, then 2 episodes of dragonball z religiously. Once you watch like 5 episodes you get hooked. I own all the seasons/movies and still watch them,
DBZ is the only thing that i prefer over Mortal Kombat

1/4 American Psycho/Patrick Bateman (Look at the value of the 1/4 neca version at the moment, its very rare)
1/4 Karl Urban Dredd
1/4 Popeye

Ok got it. I was curious about all the DBZ love.
I don't know if it aired in the UK. If it did it wasn't on my radar.
I guess I should watch some.

I'm a DragonBall Z fanatic. I'm afraid for Myself if Jerry has the DBZ license.
If he did them like Lion-O..... Well, I'd be broke .

Pop eye would be really cool. I think PCS could pull it off. Do olive oil and bluto and I'll buy them all.
Also 1/4 Candyman

Because they take forever to put out new PG model kits, and as much as I like building them I like having a set statue over poseable stuff, and an artists design of a scene.

- Berserk: seriously, huge market here. 1/4 scale is sight unseen and people keep dropping retarded amounts of money for the 1/6 scale things.
- Dragon Ball: I'm no fan, but makes sense from a business point of view. Here in Europe Tsume is killing it with their Saint Seiya, Naruto and now Hokuto no Ken lines in 1:6 scale (and they're prices like or more than 1:4 statues, too).
- Alien/Predator: yeah, I know. Little to no chance, but I had to
