buying from ebay

I have a question

if I buy an electrical item from ebay

the seller ships the item to my country which is about half a world from the seller

if the item is not working.

how many days do I have to return the item back to the seller for a refund?

Thank You

30 days
You have 30 days on ebay and 180 days on paypal to open a case, but that is for
items that are not as described when they arrive, not for items that are as described,
(and work as intended), when they arrive and then develop a fault.

Being it doesn’t work wouldn’t you start the return process right away? Seller may even just send another one.
