Is that how she is supposed to look??? That face is hideous, the teeth especially. I don't know a thing about the character. Maybe she's supposed to be ugly?

She isn't a character. She was a real person most famous for bondage and pin up work she did in the '50's. I'm not sure this is a great likeness either. I think the smaller ones Dark Horse put out are better

Sculpt quality aside,
Bettie Page was an actual person, considered one of the biggest pin up queens ever, famous for her bangs and made a pop culture resurgence when Dave Stevens featured her in his Rocketeer comics...

Okay, so it's definitely the sculpt. She is hot in those pictures! Thanks for the info.
If I was a fan of the person, I would be hesitant to display that particular statue of her.

Wow! that is a terrible pose and a horrendous likeness!!! I know she recently passed a few years ago, but does her estate not have anyone looking over any production using her image? This is such a lost opportunity. So many great poses ant photos of this beautiful Goddess to be had and they go with this?!

Hopefully someone else will be able to properly do a 1/4 scale mixed media likeness of her. Not only would it be a great stand alone piece but could also be used as a companion piece with the Rocketeer PF.

Dave Stevens used that Bettie in blue bikini as a reference for one of his drawings. I wish people behind the scenes would work out the legal stuff so we can get a Bettie and Rocketeer statue. Or another Dave Stevens Bettie statue. The Bettie Bath image by Dave Stevens could be a nice statue if the sculptor could some how work around the lower nudity issue.

Statues of Bettie that are commercially and widely available can be counted on one hand after a bad firecracker accident.
Huge cult following, not sure who benefits financially since her death though, but I think the demand is there.
