Spider-Man Far from home - 7/10
The Peter Parker / Tony Stark arc is pure genius and pure heart but despite that the movie lacked something, cant put my finger on it. The generic cgi monsters were probably part of the problem, it set the tone of the movie for me right from the start.
Maybe it is cgi fatigue , I don't know. The Mysterio sequence was absolutely gorgeous though and my fav bit of the movie.
Worth a watch though I guess, but I expected more.

Loved this film. Captain America: Winter Soldier is my standard for films that are 10/10, and this one just didn’t feel momentous like that one. But what an outstanding love letter to The Beatles, and there’s a moment toward the end of the film that just blew my mind while making perfect sense in the context of the movie.

I would give it the same score, really enjoyed the film. And that scene did surprise me, not what I was expecting.

Spiderman, Far From Home 8/10 - It's the celebration of High-School years that I so appreciate w/ this version of Spidey. Unfettered awkwardness w/ spurts of joy & innocence follow Peter & his class all around Europe as they did in the High-School years of the comic book. Holland is w/o a doubt my favorite Spiderman. I'm fiine with the social updates. Mysterio was fantastic..

Spider-Man Far From Home 7/10
I really enjoy Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. I look forward to the time when Spider-Man isn’t so linked to Iron Man, which I hope will be the next movie.
Also that first end credit scene was “hot damn - guess we are going there!” for me. The second still has me scratching my head.

Might as well replace the above with Bohemian Rhapsody score since it’s now HBOs movie of the month. 7/10

If you check out the youtube comparison live aid performance it’s pretty amazing how Rami copied Freddie’s gestures.

Saving Mr. Banks
9 out of 10
Had no interest in this movie, didn't even know Mary Poppins was a book. Watched it because nothing was on and I was flipping channels.
Very well done. Really good movie, I was pleasantly surprised.
