House of X / Powers of X OHC will be reprinted in September 2025.

X-Men: Age of Krakoa - Dawn of X Omnibus will be released in December 2025.

I have never read Hickman before, but Hickman X-Men and Krakoa Era has alot of praises so i am looking forward to these two releases.

Do those two basically cover the run?

I forgot to add the vol. 1 part... that is X-Men Krakoa Era - Dawn of X Omnibus, vol.1 so no, it doesn't have the entire run and i don't know how many omnibuses it will take to cover the entire run.

I heard people say Krakoa Era Omnibuses will be completed in 11 years or something... So it is something like a 11 years commitment, if you get the vol. 1

I believe Omar said in his Near Mint Condition announcement that it would take 10 or 11 omnibus volumes to collect the entire Krakoa era (Dawn of X, Reign of X, Destiny of X, etc.).

I'm still only halfway through Destiny of X myself and a lot of these books, I don't feel it's necessary to read again. Whenever I do revisit this X-Men era, I'll just jump from OHC to OHC for the events which I think are the essentials.

I just take the videos forward and look at What is announced and close the videos. I watch some of his ''overview'' videos and ''upcoming collected editions of the month'' videos though.

How many years after the original comics do Omnis come out?
It is wild to me that people do not know what the Krakoa era is bc it is “current” XMen related and I read the single issues.

Since I only think of getting Omnis to fill in gaps in my “classic” collection that is why I ask

It all depends. The Alias Omnibus, one of the first to come out, came out only a few months after the issues ran. Others, like Ed Brubaker?s Captain America, seemed to come out while he was still writing the book. Then you have others, like Superior Spider-Man that have not gotten the Omnibus treatment, and it?s been several years since that storyline ended.

Superior Spider-Man Omnibus Vol. 1 was released about a year and a half ago.

Oh, jeez, you?re right. I see it was July 11, 2023. Had no idea.

Still, then, there?s one that took years to get to Omnibus format.

That was probably because they reprinted the run in three oversized hardcovers first, which was a thing back then. I know I "had to" double dip. :-\
