Anything I can use in place of Aves?

I just have a quick small repair I need to do before a re paint. Can I just use any 2part epoxy clay from the home depot like the stuff used in plumbing etc? I don't really feel like waiting for a tub of aves to ship to me and then have a bunch of excess I never use.

That's the epoxy putty that you knead together and it hardens in like 15 mins right?

There's also milliput that comes in smaller quantities than aves and is very similar.

Tamiya makes a few different puttys, i use the basic grey for small cracks, dents and hairline cracks. Works well to fill paint chips, dries super fast, easy to sand and paint sticks to it.

I have plumbers putty, and do not like it, very messy, and dries extrely quick. aves is great, I would just get the 1/4 lb and have left overs for another time, plus it doesn't go bad for a really long time.

I messed around with the jb water weld putty. Very thick, sticky and took a while to smooth to a good finish. I'll probably just get some aves. There a link you guys get yours from?
