Your collection rules for 2019?

With so many statues coming out in 2019 and beyond, I thought it would be good to update my personal rules for collecting in 2019.

Going to try to keep to the following:

1) Only 1 statue per character
2) Batman universe statues are only 1/3 scale
3) Avengers universe statues need to be similar but not necessarily exact to the films
4) X-Men universe statues are only 1/4 scale and ladies only
5) Statues only from the large suppliers: SideShow, XM, Prime 1, Weta, etc
6) No anime/manga statues (too many out there)
7) No horror/gore statues (not allowed)
8) No statues over $2k unless it's 1/2 scale or larger

Exceptions:
A) Exception to #2 is the XM Samurai line
B) Exception to all of the above are the Gotham Sirens: Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Poison Ivy

So what are your rules for 2019?

- Only 1/4 scale
- As close to comic classic as possible
- Only 1 statue per character (since 3 years now ), only missing Juggernaut, a good Magneto & Flash
- Only main characters (unless the statue is too good to pass)
- No direct buy anymore unless there is a fixed reasonable ES for the EX + the statue is a must have

For me it will be in general less new pre orders as I'm waiting actually for more statues than I have room for.

From SSC it will be probably only Dejah Thoris and the new Punisher.

The other rule is more videogame characters, just orderes Conker last week. (and waiting for Samus, Snake and Bowser)

-XM kucharek full scale venom

Trying to keep it to video game related fantasy stuff but always am tempted by X-ladies, especially from XM. Sideshow’s lineup is already quite killer this year.

1. Complete construction of 2 large shelves and display what i have.
2. Hold off pre ordering anything new (limit myself to 2x 1/4 PF's)
3. Pay off 7x pre orders from 2018
4. Reach 2020 with a maximum of 2 pre_orders or less in progress

1.Only fully sculpted polystone statues. No mixed media(faux leather etc)
2. No PVC statues/figures
3. No Hot Toys, 1/6 action figures/man-dolls.

1. Cannot buy any more pieces until I've traded/sold my remaining 20 OG pieces from Sideshow.
2. Complete the display room with custom acrylic doors for my Stuva setup.
