Matrix Resurrections: 4/10

The film was a complete waste to resurrect this 20 year old franchise.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Matrix Resurrections 7/10

I went into it with the same feeling I had after seeing Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions. The original Matrix should have been the one and only movie. Neo (One) and done. I still feel the same way.

I was entertained and liked the callbacks to the original. I feel it was just a reboot of sorts of the original (Some of the shots were almost exactly the same) but I liked seeing the characters again.

Do I need a refresher on the whole trilogy or just the first one, before seeing Resurrections?

They refer to all 3 of the first movies quite a bit. So may help to watch all of them again.

This is exactly how I feel about it. The first one was so awesome because of the concept and the premise. It is the kind of thing that any and all sequels are just doomed to failure and are absolute garbage.

Being the Ricardos (2021) - Follows Lucy and Desi as they face a crisis that could end their careers and another that could end their marriage.

Not knowing much about Lucy and Desi beyond the sitcom, I found the script about what they were like off-screen very enlightening. 7/10

The Long, Long Trailer (1954) - Nicky and Tacy are going to be married. Nicky wants to save up money for a house, but Tacy dreams of starting off with their own home on wheels--a trailer.

It's essentially Lucy's and Desi's sitcom characters in a full-length feature. 5/10
